At Halton Pardee + Partners, we believe in creating healthy life habits for ourselves so we can service our clients at our very best. Last week, some of our team members took a break from our day and headed over to YAS Fitness Center for a fun, intense spin and yoga class.
YAS Fitness Center first opened their doors in Venice in 2001, when founder, Kimberly Fowler created the first studio dedicated to the combination of yoga and spinning. With a smart mix of cardio, strength training, stretching, and alignment, the classes are a succinct and balanced solution to all fitness needs.
The newly relocated flagship location in Venice has immaculate and spacious studios, and was a convenient walk or short drive from both our Santa Monica and Venice offices. YAS graciously opened its doors to us for a mid-day break, which we all enjoyed and the incredibly helpful staff warmly welcomed us.
We worked with an awesome YAS instructor, Ryan, who offered great music and a precise routine. Our team members came in at different levels of experience and comfort zones, but we quickly found that the workouts can be adapted to any skill set. You can push yourself by going at your own pace to get an intense, powerful workout.
We started our YAS experience with a high-energy, 30-minute spin class. We rocked out to fun music and got in some difficult but great cardio. Then, we moved into the yoga studio for some relaxation and much-needed stretching. Following our class, we found the awesome selection from their new juice bar refreshing and the perfect end to a great workout.
We love this local studio and can’t wait to head back! Check out YAS Fitness Center’s website for class schedules HERE.
