Take part in the world’s biggest beach cleanup at Heal The Bay’s Coastal Cleanup Day this Saturday throughout all of Los Angeles from 9 AM to noon.
Over 600,000 people participated in last year’s event and Heal The Bay is hoping to expand on that number this year. No need to live near the beach; there will be over 50 cleanup sites from Malibu to Pasadena.
Heal the Bay accepts volunteers of all ages and physical abilities. To participate, register today and follow the guide below:
Find a site: Check out this interactive map to pick a site that suits you.
Print a waiver: Save time and bring your waiver to your site. Each and every volunteer needs to fill one out.
Talk trash: Join the Coastal Cleanup Day event on Facebook and get your friends excited about the trashiest day of the year.
Keep it clean: Supplies will be available at every site, but bring your own bucket, gloves and water bottle to help reduce waste.
