The New York Times recently wrote about the mass exodus that is taking place with New Yorkers moving to Los Angeles in flocks. And for obvious reasons; endless sunshine, pristine beaches and surfing, friendly people (it’s all the Vitamin D), the list goes on….
But one thing LA wasn’t known for until recently was its cuisine. Fortunately, these New Yorkers that are adding to our traffic problem (we still love you) are also adding to the increase of fine dining and fantastic restaurant options in our great metropolis.
Now, the Los Angeles Times is reporting about a particular New Yorker bringing her vegetarian café and juice bar west. It only makes sense that the founder and creative director Heather Tierney of The Butcher’s Daughter decided to hang her flag on “the coolest block in America,” Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice. For now, The Butcher’s Daughter will be open from 8am-3pm for breakfast, and will eventually open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. If you want to see any of us outside of the office, you know where to find us!
